If something doesn't look right in a note — whether it's the title, the transcript, or the summary — you can use the Fix feature to have Voicenotes regenerate it. This is useful when audio quality was poor, a word was misheard, or the AI output simply isn't quite what you needed.
To access Fix, open a note and tap the ... (more options) menu, then select Fix.
What you can fix
Regenerate title If the auto-generated title doesn't accurately reflect what the note is about, tap this to have Voicenotes create a new one based on the content.
Regenerate transcript Reruns the transcription on your recording. Use this if the original transcript has errors — for example, if a name was spelled incorrectly, or a section of audio wasn't captured properly the first time.
Regenerate summary Creates a new AI-generated summary of your note. This is helpful if the original summary missed something important or framed the content in a way that isn't useful to you.
Suggest a fix Not sure what's wrong, but something feels off? Use this option to let Voicenotes analyse the note and recommend what to improve.
Tips for better results
If you're getting consistent transcription errors on names or terms, add them to Names to Remember in your settings. This helps Voicenotes learn your preferred spellings and reduces the need for manual fixes.
If audio quality is a recurring issue, check your microphone settings and try recording in a quieter environment.
