How to share and export a note in Voicenotes

Every note in Voicenotes can be shared or exported in a variety of ways. To access these options, open any note and tap the Share button at the top of the screen.

Sharing options

Copy link Generates a public link (e.g. voicenotes.com/s/...) that anyone can open in a browser to view your note. Once a link is created, you'll see a Disable public link option to revoke access at any time.

Copy transcript Copies the full transcript of your recording to your clipboard, ready to paste anywhere.

Copy summary Copies the AI-generated summary of your note to your clipboard.

Share via email Opens your default email app with the note content pre-filled, so you can send it directly to someone.

Publish to pages Publishes your note as a shareable page on Voicenotes.

Download Audio Downloads the original audio file of your recording to your device.

Export options

Tap Export in the Share menu to expand the export options. You can export your note's content as a file in four formats:

  • Export Transcript as PDF — saves the full transcript as a PDF file

  • Export Summary as PDF — saves the AI-generated summary as a PDF file

  • Export Transcript as .txt — saves the full transcript as a plain text file

  • Export Summary as .txt — saves the AI-generated summary as a plain text file

The exported file will be saved to your device, where you can open, move, or share it like any other file.
