Voicenotes offers two plans - Basic and Pro. Both give you access to the core Voicenotes experience across meetings, memos, and dictation. Whether you're just getting started or ready to go all-in, there's a plan that fits.

Basic - free
The Basic plan is free to use, and it's more generous than you'd expect.
Every week, you get 100 minutes of transcripts and summaries - refreshed automatically, so you always have a fresh allowance to work with. These minutes apply across everything: your memos, meetings, and dictation. Use them however works best for you.
What happens when you run out of weekly minutes?
You can keep recording. Voicenotes saves every recording to your account regardless of whether you've hit your weekly limit - that's what unlimited raw recordings means. The recording won't be transcribed or summarized right away, but it's safely stored. When your minutes refresh the following week, you can go back to any of those saved recordings and choose to transcribe them then. Nothing is lost.
This makes the Basic plan genuinely flexible: you're never forced to stop capturing your thoughts or meetings mid-week just because your transcript minutes ran out.
Trying out dictation
Dictation - the ability to type with your voice anywhere - is a Pro feature. That said, every Voicenotes user gets a one-time allocation of free dictation minutes to try it out. This is separate from your weekly 100 minutes and is there specifically so you don't miss the chance to experience dictation, even if you've already used up your weekly allowance on memos and meetings. This one-time allocation doesn't replenish - it's purely to give you a proper feel for the feature before deciding whether to upgrade.
30-day history means you can access all your notes and meetings from the past 30 days. Anything older than that isn't deleted - it's stored - but it won't be visible in the app on the Basic plan. If you upgrade to Pro at any point, your full history becomes accessible again.

Pro - $9/user per month
Pro removes all the limits. It's built for people who rely on Voicenotes daily - whether for back-to-back meetings, long-form memos, voice dictation throughout the day, or all of the above.
With Pro, you don't need to think about weekly minute limits or history windows. Everything is transcribed, summarized, stored, and searchable - with no ceiling on how much you record or how far back you can go.
Pro also unlocks advanced integrations, so you can connect Voicenotes to the other tools in your workflow and pipe your notes and transcripts wherever they need to go.

Managing your subscription
You can manage your plan from Settings > Billing in Voicenotes.
Switching to team billing - If you and your colleagues already have individual Pro accounts and want to consolidate under one team subscription, go to Settings, click Teams, and follow the steps there. It's straightforward and keeps everything in one place.
Using a promo or coupon code - If you have a promo code, you can enter it during the checkout process when upgrading to Pro.
Cancelling or downgrading - You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from Settings > Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
After that, your account moves to the Basic plan 0 your recordings and notes aren't deleted, but your access adjusts to match the Basic plan limits.
Security and privacy
Every Voicenotes plan comes with the same security standards. There's no tiered approach to privacy here.

Never used to train AI - your voice and notes are yours. Voicenotes does not train on your data, and third parties like OpenAI or Anthropic are not permitted to either

Frequently asked questions
What languages are supported? Voicenotes supports English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, and 60+ other languages for transcription.
Can I import recordings from other tools? Yes - audio imports are available on the Pro plan. Upload your existing audio files and Voicenotes will transcribe, summarize, and index them, so your full recording history is immediately searchable.
Does Voicenotes train AI on my data? No. Voicenotes does not use your data to train AI models, and third-party providers are not permitted to either. Your recordings stay private.
My colleagues and I already have Pro accounts. Can we switch to team billing? Yes. Go to Settings > Teams and follow the instructions to consolidate your accounts under team billing.
