The Voicenotes MCP server lets Claude access your voice notes directly — so you can search, reference, and create notes without leaving your conversation. It's perfect for pulling up meeting notes, revisiting ideas, or quickly capturing follow-ups.
Prerequisites
An active Voicenotes account.
A Claude Pro, Team, or Enterprise plan (MCP connectors aren't available on the free plan)
1. Navigate to Claude Settings
Click on profile on the left bottom and select settings
Click on Connectors
Click on Add custom connector
Provide a name (eg: Voicenotes) and ente the Voicenotes MCP URL: https://api.voicenotes.com/mcp
Click Add. The connector will now appear in your list with a 'Custom' tag
Click Connect. You'll be taken to the Voicenotes login page (or straight to the authorization screen if you're already logged in).
Click Continue to grant Claude access to your voice notes.
You'll be redirected back to Claude and see a confirmation that the connector has been successfully connected.
Now you can start a new chat and ask Claude anything related to your Voice notes.
Walkthrough:
2. Tools available
Search notes — Find notes by meaning, not just keywords (e.g., "ideas about onboarding" will match even if you never said the word "onboarding")
List notes — Browse notes filtered by date range or tags
Get full transcript — Pull the complete transcript of any note into the conversation
Create a text note — Add a new note to Voicenotes directly from Claude even with tags
3. Try it out
You're all set! You can now interact with your Voicenotes using natural language. Try asking:
"Search my notes for ideas about the mobile app"
"Show me my notes from last week"
"Find notes tagged with 'meeting'"
"Create a note: Remember to follow up with the design team"
"Get the full transcript of my last voice note"
Need Help?
If Claude says it can't access your notes, check that the Voicenotes connector shows as 'Connected' in Settings → Connectors. You may need to click Connect again after disconnecting.
