Ask AI is a built-in assistant in Voicenotes that lets you quickly retrieve information from your text and voice notes—our users often share that it's like having a “second brain” for everything you’ve recorded.

What does Ask AI do?

It pulls together everything you've recorded and written, offering a way to instantly access insights, context, and ideas from your notes.

  • Context-Aware: Searches and interprets all text and voice notes for relevant information.

  • Quick Retrieval: Offers instant answers without manually sifting through notes.

  • Always Accessible: Acts as a central hub for all your ideas, tasks, and reminders.

How to Use Ask AI

  1. Open Voicenotes

    • You'll see three main options at the bottom: Ask AI, Note, and Record.

      • Ask AI is where you can query your notes to get intelligent, context-aware answers.

      • Note is for typing text-based notes.

      • Record is for creating voice notes.

  2. Tap "Ask AI"

    • Tap on Ask AI to open the interface. You will see two toggles: Ask and Create.
By default, Ask will be selected.

  3. Ask Your Question

    • Upon opening Ask AI, you’ll also see how many notes you’ve recorded since joining Voicenotes, along with the link to helpful sample prompts to guide you in asking more effective questions. These prompts will help you get the most out of Ask AI’s capabilities.

      • Ask or Type your query and Ask AI will respond accordingly (e.g., “What were my ideas for the team project?”). If you record your question, Ask AI will provide a voice response, almost like talking to your AI assistant.

    • Ask AI will search your notes and provide a relevant answer.

How to Save and Acess the AI Chat History

  • Automatic Saving: All queries and answers are stored in your history.

  • Access History: Tap the History icon (top-left of the Ask AI screen) to review past questions and answers.
