How to Add Voicenotes App to the Action Button on iPhone

You can quickly access the Voicenotes app by adding it to the Action Button on your iPhone. Follow these simple steps to set it up:

  1. Open the Shortcuts App:

    • Launch the Shortcuts app on your iPhone. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the App Store.

  2. Create a New Shortcut:

    • Tap the "+" button in the top right corner to create a new shortcut.

    • Select Add Action from the options (eg: Open App).

  3. Choose the Voicenotes App:

    • In the search bar, type "Voicenotes" and select the appropriate action for the Voicenotes app (such as Ask AI, Record, or Search).

  4. Save the Shortcut:

    • After selecting the desired action, tap Next, and configure the shortcut settings like giving your shortcut a name, choosing an icon, adding to the Home screen, etc. Then tap Done.

  5. Assign to the Action Button:

    • Go to Settings > Action Button.

    • Choose Shortcuts from the list of options.

    • Select the Voicenotes shortcut you just created.

Now, when you press the Action Button, your iPhone will launch Voicenotes directly. Enjoy note-taking at your fingertips!
